Thank you for making this app so that we can listen / fallow this amazing radio show. With this app I can keep track of the episodes I have heard. Also I can download episodes I would like to listen later. I love this show so thank you for making it easier to keep up for us listeners.

Excellent application to improve your English. Itd be good if we could read texts of each programme.

Buggy, crashes often, dowloads sometimes stop for no reason. Update please!

I cannot stop listening to This American Life! I just started listening this year! I started with Serial and once I was caught up I needed something to fill that hole. This American Life is interesting, educational and making me a better human. My goal is to listen to every episode. This app is the perfect place because I can do that for free! Thanks for changing my life Ira Glass and team! I am truly grateful!

Great to have everything in one place, but its quite difficult to tell if youre episodes have downloaded, or if youre still using data and wifi to stream. A simple fix would be to add an additional tab for "downloaded episodes" so listeners can easily tell when theyre listening offline versus on

I love being able to play the live stream. Being able to hear TAL 24/7 if Id like is a delight!

Hadnt even looked this app in ages but its much better than it used to be! Finally!

Love the show but this app is crap! It never updates to the current show. Looks like as of Aug. 28th, the latest show was in May. Whats the point? Itunes lets you download most recent for free and I paid for the official app that cant even play the last 3 months worth of shows. Seriously guys, hire a real app developer already and can the poor excuse of a programmer you have already, he/she doesnt deserve a job.

Its a shame the app is so clunky and awkward because the show is amazing. And the app just hinders the listening. It randomly pauses for 2-3 seconds while streaming on wifi. Sometimes it doesnt start back up. The play/pause controls on the lock screen doesnt work half the time. Marking episodes as played when swiping right is awkward, it should spring back when youre done with your selection. Sometimes episodes just dont play, I have to restart the app. Filtering episodes based on played/unplayed sometimes just shows up as "null" and doesnt work. Would like a skip forward and backward 15 seconds (like podcasts app does), and also for it to show up on the lock screen. The play/pause big button is sometimes unresponsive. Im using an iPhone 6, updated to latest firmware. I dont mind supporting the show and the app, and would gladly pay more for the app than I already did if it actually worked well.

For the past few months, the iPhone app doesnt allow me to access any past shows. When I open the app, the first four "recently aired" shows are available and visible, but nothing else. The years are listed on the right, but I cant click on/tap any of them. After scrolling down to the bottom of this page, it says "No episodes. Please select a different filter" - but there is no filter activated. I can search by show, but cant browse for any. I have written directly to the show, but havent received a response. Please fix!

This American Life never fails to entertain, educate, enliven, enlighten, and mesmerize. I discovered this program in college, about 10 years ago. Havent listened to nearly as many episodes as I know Id enjoy, but every one I have listened to has given me nothing but simultaneous warmth and chills. Every time. Thank you Ira Glass and everyone else that has helped create such a stunning...thing. I just downloaded the app two days ago, and its my absolute favorite. Its amazing how the tales from real people resonate and make you think and appreciate what we dont understand and havent experienced. Please keep the stories coming. Seriously. Thank you. Love this Nebraska gal.
